In fact, he explains that the first time he ever killed, it was for his sister, that he would have done anything for her, but that it was never enough… When the time came to finally fulfill the role she had in mind for him, he understandably refused to participate in the quite extreme ritual and left.Įven though there’s probably no hidden meaning behind Vaas’ tattoo in the trailer, I think it’s possible that, as Citra’s former candidate to become the ultimate warrior, he did receive a tatau but, because he refused to complete the ritual, it magically disappeared.
